At the most famous hotel in London, maybe the world, is the ultra-suave and coolly low-key Beaufort Bar, quite possibly the most attractive space to sip a drink in the city. Despite the fact it\u2019s just off the lobby (which is always busy with tourists wandering in and coming-and-going guests), it\u2019s a hideaway of supreme style and opulence. Jet-black walls, theatrical lighting and enough discreet touches of gold to remind you you\u2019re somewhere beyond special: the refurbished (2013) Beaufort is just stunning. Good job then that the drinks are first-rate \u2013 far more creative than at its neighbouring American Bar, and many incorporating fizz to great effect. A stunning place.<\/p>\n
